The Mutant Zombie Tour 2019

For the last two weeks I have been travelling up and down this fabulous country of ours and talking to kids about mutant zombies. Getting out and about, meeting kids and visiting schools are some of the very best bits of being an author. I love the random questions and the laughs.

This tour spanned three countries (England, Wales and Scotland) over 15 days and saw me travel over 2000 miles, which is further than a trip from London to Moscow! On the tour, I was able to inform thousands of kids about the best way to create a zombie army, what I’d do if JK Rowling was my sister, and why I am “better than Shakespeare” (it’s true, a school ran a poll to determine which writer was the greatest the country had produced and I beat Shakers).
